Dog aggression with new baby

Food and possession-aggressive dog.

Has attacked 4 dogs in 8 months.

No warning signs, the dog goes from laying down to attack/kill in seconds, very unpredictable and never know what the stimulus for attack will be.

One of the dogs being attacked is my dog.

My dog and myself are going to move in with my boyfriend next month, when I will be 35 weeks pregnant.

New baby coming soon, obviously.

Potential for death to my dog, and trauma/danger/damage/death to baby because of my boyfriend’s aggressive and unpredictable dog.

We will be moving into “his” territory so... that’s just great.

What do we do. I need help, this is seriously causing so much stress in my life and in my relationship because my boyfriend doesn’t want to take responsibility by doing things such as even TALKING to a behaviorist, seeking out professional advise, etc. he wants to put the dog in a basket muzzle. IMO, that’s a bad quality of life for the dog, and there’s a margin for error if he gets out of the muzzle, and it’s a bandaid solution, doesn’t fix the problem.

Please help I’m desperate. I will not even give an opportunity for anything to happen to the baby when she comes. I don’t know where my place is with regard to making suggestions (I have asked him to seek professional help, he doesn’t want to idk why), I know that I wish his dog was not here, but I could never bring myself to even suggest that, but it’s also very concerning to me that as a new father he is willing to put our daughters life, my dog’s life, and my safety (his dog has growled at me multiple times and has snapped at my bf multiple times), at risk.

Help PLEASE.
