I had my rogue ring pierced almost two weeks ago; this Sunday will be two weeks. I've read online that you should wait 2-4 weeks before changing out your bar, but would a few days really matter if I changed it out tomorrow?

I have plans tomorrow with my boy toy and would love to try it out with him for the first time. Plus since my tongue has reduced completely from swelling, the bar has a huge gap and is in the way when I eat.

Anyone has advice on me changing it for the first time tomorrow? Should it be alright to do?
