Do you and your SO text during your work day? Talk on the phone during lunch time?

Is it normal to not communicate the entire day even if both jobs have lax phone policy and there is a lot of free time to text one another?

My boyfriend and I text throughout the day sometimes, but we never talk on the phone during breaks or anything, and it doesn't bother me if I don't hear from him all day. We both know that we're busy people, and we aren't a particularly mushy couple, so we don't tend to send unnecessary texts.

Been toghether almost 4 years and we text each other all the time when we’re not toghether lol. He works night shift and I work days so we’re on opposite schedules right now.

Him going to work is my time away from him lmao. Hell no I don’t text or call him. If I need him to pick something up on his way home then I’ll text him to do so.

We have been together 5.5 years. He calls me once a day while he is on break or lunch. We usually communicate about how our day is going, struggles, dinner etc. We have a great relationship and i think it's largely due to our communication skills.

We text now and then, some days more than others. I’m a SAHM and he makes his own schedule, so unless he’s with a patient, he’s free to text.  We never talk on the phone unless there’s something to discuss that we can’t do by text (kids sick, test result from my OB, etc). But other than an occasional meme, we may go all day without saying anything. That’s just our normal.

We rarely text each other. And when we do it is usually updates or letting the other know we are working late. We see each other at night, we don’t need to text/talk all day.

My bf and I have been together over 2 years and we don't live together. So I txt him 30 minutes before he has to leave for work and we txt on each of his breaks and then when he gets home until he goes to bed.

Not really. Once in a while on breaks and stuff, but im usually in class when he's on a break. 
We only really text to update on things (currently pregnant and i need someone to complain to about this baby being in my ribs lol)

He's a teacher so he's busy from 7-3. He has a 30 minute lunch that's his only break from his students, and even then he usually has to sit with them while they're all eating. I don't text him while he's working usually, but he's home by 4 so we get the whole evening together.
