It looks like you need a longer bar. Go back to the piercer and ask him to change it out.

You definitely need a longer bar placed in, that’s why it’s getting irritated. Make sure you are cleaning it twice a day, and cleaning it properly. Yes it will get infected because your body is rejecting it and treating it as a wound!

It looks like it's starting to keloid mine looks like that but I had to remove mine cuz it keyloided and I can't ever have it re pierced
