Ivf and periods

So I have irregular periods sometimes I miss a month or sometimes I get one but still really long in my cycle... I’m just wondering if I am starting <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">ivf</a> soon and waiting to get my injections and stuff how will I do that if my periods skip or long? Will my doctor give me something to induce it?
