I can't even begin to describe how amazing this birth was

I can't even begin to describe how amazing this birth was. This was my second baby. My first was a beautiful girl 6 pounds 14 ounces. This one was a boy 7 pounds 14 ounces. My first was a hospital birth with epidural. Everything went really well and I was blessed with an easy enough labor, only minor tearing. This second time I had a water birth at home and though quite painful I had no tearing and the recovery has been so good! This experience was so endearing especially because of how intimate this birth was. The support I had was unbelievable. My husband displayed such strength and endurance helping me labor all through the night and never leaving my side. He massaged me through the pain and encouraged me in every way possible. My little man arrived in the company of family and friends cheering me on. He's healthy and I'm doing so well. Couldn't have hoped for a sweeter more thrilling way to bring a life into the world.
