Okay ladies here's a question about how your SO handles Mother's Day. Every year I get my feelings hurt because my husband feels no need to say Happy Mother's Day to me because I am not HIS mother. Just last night, my 9 year old asked him in front of me if he got me something and he said it- "No, she's not my mother". I wanted to cry. But he gets upset and thinks I'm being selfish. I just keep my mouth shut but really it makes me feel so sad. I am the proud mother of his two beautiful children and I think I deserve to be celebrated on this one day by him too, not just my kids. It's not about cards or flowers or gifts...I just want him to acknowledge me on this day.
