Ella as a nickname for Elizabeth?
We need to use Ivy as a middle name because it's an important family name. My husband doesn't like it as a first name. Ella is the name I love but Ella Ivy doesn't flow. Elizabeth Ivy does. My great aunt Elizabeth used to go by Bet so traditional nicknames aren't always necessary.
