2 weeks of light bleeding

I got my Mirena inserted in the end of September and this is my first period while on Mirena. I started November 2nd and it is still ongoing today. I've been wearing liners pretty much everyday because that's how light it is. My question is.. Is this normal? Have any of you had this happen to you when you got your first period on Mirena? I do have weekly doctor's appointments because I started allergy shots, so I am going to ask next week when I go if this doesn't stop. This period has been more of a nuisance than anything.
