I'm having serious stress problems with my baby's name, it's not the usual problem, the father isn't involved, my baby will be mixed race, and quite dark skinned. I'm seriously worried about the future my child will have, if the baby's dad isn't around then it shouldnt inherit his surname when he won't even be around to sign the birth certificate with me so he won't be on it meaning the baby has to take my surname and I know it's going to cause my baby serious racism problems in the future my surname begins with golly so it would be so cruel to give a mixed race child a name that will cause it problems in the future, people are cruel and im worried sick so what do I do if it can't have my name or its fathers ? Do I change mine can I even do that
