Santa??

Question

Call me the grinch, but I don’t see the point in getting presents from “Santa” for my kids who are 9 months and under 1 year. They definitely won’t understand the concept. 
Any other parents feel this way? What age will you introduce a Santa?

I’m not introducing Santa. 
1- I’m not forcing my child to sit on a stranger’s lap ever
2- I’m not going to lie to them and break trust
3- I believe that Christmas can be magical without some creepy fat guy sneaking into our home and eating cookies. 
If she decides to believe in Santa, that’s ok, but I’m not the one introducing him to her.

Just kidding. If you feel they're too young, don't worry about it. As for me, Santa will still visit when they're grown! bahahahahaha! We have 7 kids and I'm huge on Christmas.

We don’t do Santa. It’s either from Mom and dad ir it’s from family members. We never say anything came from Santa.

I told my son “Santa brought presents” last year and he was just 8 months old! It’s not something I spend a lot of time on though. He has definitely seen cartoons and photos of Santa by now (there’s even a Christmas theme park where I live), but yeah he’s still too young to get the whole idea. So I don’t go above and beyond to tell him anything.

My firat was 6 months for her first Christmas and we still kind of did it but just for some pictures for her first Christmas, she is now 5 and a half and my new daughter will only be 4 weeks but we will for sure be doing Santa for the whole family. It is different though when they are that small. But they still get so surprised and excited to see presents that weren't there before

Mine will be 7 months and will be getting things she needs and a couple light up toys and a walking toy. She has a 4 year old sister who would not understand why sister didn't get anything.   We also did Santa for my first when she was 11 months old and her little face lit up with enjoyment and played with her new stuff. I loved it.

we did gifts from Santa on my son's first Christmas (6 months) he didn't understand but we took lots of cute photos. He's now 2 and kinda gets the whole Santa thing, even if we didn't do gifts from Santa, my son would still love him, he's a little Santa crazy lolz

Santa is non existent in our house until our kids can comprehend the subject. Though I’m still in a toss up of it. 
Maybe 2? Maybe 3? 🤷🏼‍♀️ 
We always did the three wise men gifts anyway so Santa wasn’t a huge part of us growing up.

My family will not do Santa. We intend to teach our daughter that some people believe that it is true and basically to not be an asshole about it, but I hate the whole Santa/Easter Bunny/Tooth Fairy BS
