How can breast milk stay in the refrigerator?

I forgot I pumped around 10 ounces of breast milk Sunday morning and put it in the refrigerator since. I don't want it to go to waste.

up to 3 days it can stay in the fridge in a closed container.

Depends how long your milk still tastes ok for. Mine would be funky by now. Not bad, just bad tasting and baby wouldn’t drink it. You can always test it to see. 
Mine only stays ok in fridge 2-3days without scalding it.
