How much do you spend on groceries each month?

In my house, it’s just me, my baby, and my husband. I do a lot of cooking and eat 3 times a day. I’d say that I spend around $400 per month in groceries. I do all of my grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s.

It’s about $700-800 a month for my husband and I and our 4&6 year old. He also spends $100 a month for his firefighter food (they go in as a crew, so that is nonnegotiable.) I cook most of the time and we eat mostly whole food, clean diets. I can’t have wheat, which increases the cost. I would love to get it down, but coupons are very limited for the foods we eat.
