So my boyfriend literally doesn’t stop. He’s either always working, sorting business out on his computer or doing fireworks (he’s a pyrotechnician). I’m genuinely concerned about how much he does because he never relaxes or just takes a 5 min break from everything. He wakes up in a morning at 6am, goes to work, gets home about 5pm has like a sandwich or small pizza as his dinner and carries on working (stuff on his computer or in season fireworks). Well tonight i was messaging him and he said he was busy so I kinda left him alone to do his thing but a couple hours later I messaged him and asked if he was still busy and he said yes so I suggested him taking a little break. Well apparently, I’m an arrogant arse because of my suggestion. I recently quit my job because of the stress and pressure and with me trying to battle depression and my anxieties getting worse, work just wasn’t doing anything to help as it was an extremely stressful position and put more of a strain on my mental health. So because of that, I know nothing about working all day and coming home to have to work more. When I was at work I exhausted myself to the point of having a breakdown pretty much every shift and then coming home to having to do a load more chores and having my own stuff to sort out. I get that I can take it easy now but that was the whole point and he even encouraged me to focus on myself and do what was right for me then throws it back in my face always moaning that I no longer have a job.

It’s just pissed me off because I had a shit load to do today and I took about 3 hours out of my day and missed doing what I needed to to help him write up some terms and conditions and delivery information for an online shop he’s trying to start up while he was at work. And the fact that every time I’m concerned about him and suggest taking 5 mins or ask if I can do anything to help him I’m either arrogant for suggesting him taking a break because I don’t understand the concept of working all day and only having a few hours in the evening to sort everything else to which I’ve offered to help him with, but I get refused because I always do everything wrong and he has to re-do it anyway or like if he hasn’t got time to nip to a shop to get something I offer to go get it and drop it in but he refuses that too because he can do it himself and doesn’t need to be treated like a child.

I’m so sick of him being like this and I’m sick of him making me feel bad and like a shitty person for caring about him😭
