I've known this guy for my entire life and recently we've started becoming more close again. He said he'd ask me out if my parents liked him, which they don't but I didn't know that'd be a deciding factor. Anyway, we're kind of in that friends-with-benefits situation, but I'd like to date him. Should I ask where he thinks our relationship stands or what he plans to do? I need some advice.
