Been gone for a while from glow

Sooooo I just saw someone post a topic in the CC group. I asked a question on the topic and went back after a few minutes to see if anyone answered. The topic was no longer a CC topic but was changed to IGA. I tried looking into the group but there was no information. I then noticed I could not view comments on the post. I thought it was because I was not part of the IGA group. I then Requested to join the croup and it said I wasn't allowed!

What's going on??
