I fell in love with the name Elias. My son’s dad who is no longer apart of our lives didn’t like it so we settled on Elijah. Same name basically.. same meaning same origin.. both spellings in the Bible and whatever else.... but I get sick to my stomach knowing that’s the name I wanted and now I’m stuck with Elijah. I’m furious and I don’t know how to get over it. I love my son.. everything about him, but I really looove Elias and dread meeting or hearing of someone else with that name. It’s not like I can name my other child Elias you know lol
