Can I be pregnant?

I have very irregular periods (3 months at a time) and lately my period hasn't came for a very long time like usual. Usually when my period begins to come I'd start spotting very lightly (sometimes it's just spotting for no reason) but the spotting has stop. I have been having protected sex for two months now but when I took a pregnancy test I had that was kept in my bathroom the line faintly said positive (not faint to enough to be to ignored) can I be pregnant?
