It’s not necessarily a bad thing if you actually need to wear them for an actual purpose, because that could get very expensive & wasteful if you didn’t actually need them on a regular basis.

Try investing in some washable cotton only liners? Panty liners can contain chemicals that I wouldn’t want touching my skin all day every day, especially such sensitive skin.

I don’t see how this would be a bad thing unless you are wearing scented panty liners... I wear them everyday because I have a lot of discharge and would rather not stain nice underwear. Plus it feels gross to have that on my underwear... wearing the panty liner feels clean because I can change it.

Only if they're not doing anything, then it'd be wasteful which is bad. If they provide protection, then they ought to be used.
