If you have herpes you know it's something private to you , unless you're intimate with someone . Of course you gotta be up front . I just hate the stigma around herpes . Like ew she touched me she has herpes . Or like people see it as you're gross if you have it . A lot of us got it from someone we loved and was unaware . And I hate how uneducated people treat like it's HIV or aids . It will not kill you , you live a normal life , you can still have healthy babies . You don't get it from drinking after someone , or just by them touching you . You only get it from sexual contact . It's something you have to live with from the rest of your life but most people who have it don't even have outbreaks . It's just ridiculous how the media and people just make it seem disgusting . I get it it's not something you want , I get it . It's not like I wanted it I was robbed of my choice in that , I should not be shamed or feel like I'm less of a woman .
