The name Nova...

My bf loves the name Nova. I'm not sold on it because I'm worried she won't be taken seriously when she's older. I want her to like her name and not hate it. Am I thinking too much into it or not? I don't want her to apply for a job one day and a boss overlook her application or something because of her name. I think Nova is cute for a little girl but is it cute for an adult?
