Just left our 20 week ultrasound and we were told the umbilical cord only has 1 artery, called SUA. We were then warned this can cause growth issues and comes with a risk of stillbirth. Baby will be closely monitored with monthly ultrasounds and non stress tests every week starting at 32 weeks. Somehow I managed to hold it together til we got to the elevator and then broke down. Now sobbing and frantically googling of course. Anyone have experience with this?? Did you have any further complications? C-section? Healthy baby? Any info would be very much appreciated!!
