I have never used Birth Control before and these are the two my doctor said would be best for me. What makes one better than the other? Thanks.

I have the Nexplanon. I wouldn’t want anything inserted into my uterus. Plus I’d be afraid it’d come out of place without me knowing. With the Nexplanon I can just feel it right there in my arm so lol.

I had nexplanon and let me just say it doesnt work for everyone!!! i had worse periods and worse symptoms then ive ever had with any form of birth control such as acne, i was always moody and my periods were extremely irregular. everyone reacts differently. My doctor doesnt recommend anyonr without kids get the Mirena because of the side effects and that you can risk not having kids
