thoughts on spironolactone?

I am on Metformin and spironolactone. I have read some things about spironolactone not being good for fetus development, does anybody have any insight? thanks!

I used to be in spirinolactone for acne and they made me vow to not get pregnant and stay on birth control. There is so research it may feminize a male fetus because it inhibits androgens. I stopped taking it when I started trying to conceive. It was the only thing ever that worked for my acne but it isnt safe for pregnancy!  My doctor just put me on metformin for undiagnosed PCOS after two years of trying.
