CNA??

Question

Is anyone or has anyone worked as a CNA while pregnant. If so can someone give me any insight on how it was? Any advice or anything. I will greatly appreciate it. Im only 6 weeks along and I do plan on going back and working for a while.

Hi! I’m 23 weeks and I’m a cna. It’s okay for me. I rely a lot of my coworkers. I work at a great place so it’s easy to ask for help. But don’t be scared to ask for help!!!

I am a CNA/med aide in a skilled unit so lots of heavy people using big machines. I still worked at my normal fast paced until 30 weeks than I slowed down and relied a lot on my coworkers. I was told at 36 weeks I wasn’t supposed to go back due to possible signs of preeclampsia.
My advice to you is work like normal but drink tons of extra water (so hard in that field) and make sure everyone’s understanding that eventually you’ll need to rest your feet a lot more. Also, get compression socks!
