Is taking a bath safe while pregnant?!?!?!??

Hey guys so I’m 31 weeks and like 2 days and I’ve been dying to get in the tub..... I’m so over standing in the shower all the time.... I’ve always heard that you should never get in the tub but I’ve never heard of nothing happening if you do get it the tub... So someone please help me!!!

Yes! Epsom salt baths are amazing especially with an achy prego body. Just not too hot.

Took an oatmeal bath this morning to help with itchy skin. I’m 30 weeks 3 days.

Taking a bath is fine. You just don't want the water too hot or it will raise your body temp which you don't want. Take a semi-warm bath. I do it regularly.

I love my baths, have 2-3 a week all throughout my pregnancy as I did on my first 2. Just nearing the end don't have the water too hot.

I was told as long as its not a hot bath and you haven't lost your mucus plug yet a bath is fine
