positive pregnancy test but got my pd?

my period was about a week late so i decided to test yesterday and it was very clearly positive. i even rested 3 more times to make sure and it was all positive. but i woke up today in a puddle of blood and it hasnt stopped, its exactly like a period , not light but not heavy its just a normal amount and im not sure what to think, ive made a drs appointment for next week but im concerned
