“Cut” on tongue???

I’ve had this for 3-4 days and it is so painful to eat or when it actually touches my teeth. I have no idea how i got it , maybe from food?? Will it heal on its own?? Google freaked me out 😪😪

I bit my tongue so hard once that I got an infection. It swelled and it hurt to swallow, eat, talk, etc. it was swollen for a full week before I got fed up about waiting for it to go down. I didn’t have the time to go to the doctor and get antibiotics or see what was up, so I ended up drinking an herbal tea. Orange peels and rose with honey and lemon. At least two cups a day for a full week and it healed. It was tough to get down at first because of the swelling, but it got easier day by day.

When I get ulcers in my mouth, I do a salt and warm water rinse. It hurts but afterwards the pain is gone and the sore heals up a lot faster (in 3-4 days as opposed to two weeks)  . I’m not sure if it would work the same way for this cut, but it’s worth a try. Salt water is very good for healing

it will heal, it takes time I cut mine in my braces all the time, just don't eat any salty foods and just watch what you eat, you'll be fine
