How long after a MC should you wait to try again?

It's up to you and a doctor. I had a miscarriage that they called a "missed pregnancy". My doctor told me to wait one cycle but my midwife said they like the one cycle because it's easier to date how long you have been pregnant. My husband and I decided to try again right away, i got pregnant the week I stopped bleeding and am currently 13 weeks with a healthy baby. I also read that after a miscarriage you are more fertile. Emotionally not everyone is ready to try again right away. If you've had multiple miscarriages then your doctor may recommend you to wait longer, sometimes a cycle sometimes 3 months.

Ask your doctor. Unless you have s medical condition, it's generally OK to start trying again as soon as the bleeding stops and your HCG returns to pre-pregnancy levels (otherwise you won't ovulate). I had a miscarriage earlier this year at around 6 weeks, and it was over relatively quickly. Levels evened out fast. My husband and I were ready to start trying again as soon as possible. I got pregnant again right away, about two weeks after my miscarriage. I'm now 30 weeks into a perfectly healthy pregnancy.
