8-9 month toys?? Christmas!

Ok so my babe is 7 months now, and I️m thinking ahead for Christmas. He’ll be 8 months. 
He can crawl, stand on his own (but too lazy to do it unless someone’s holding his hands or he’s standing against something). His favorite toy right now is this activity table that he can stand to and flip light switches/doors, etc. 
Any ideas on toys for Christmas? What do your babes like? What do you plan on getting your LO?
We want to get him a little drum set for his first birthday and start him early with that, I️ Just don’t know what to get him for Christmas!

im getting my daughter some bath toys, some jammies, and some learning toys. i didnt wanna get too much since her birthday is barely 3 months after

it might sound crazy, but for our big gift we are getting her a forever car seat. she is till in her infant. she won't care about that, but I'm going to turn the box into a play house with lots of little doors and windows she can open and close and crawl into. I had a friend make her baby one out of a refrigerator box and he loved it so much.

So far I've gotten my son, who will be 9 months on Christmas, a VTech puppy and a book. The puppy is interactive; you can push buttons on his ears and hands but it's still a cuddly stuffed animal as well. I'm not sure what else to get either!

I’m getting my girl bath toys and stuffed animals. Right now she insists on toting around a stuffed whale from SeaWorld and a rubber ducky everywhere lol 
She’s gonna be 9 months by Christmas time.
