Does anyone have really heavy periods and then barely spotting periods? I had very irregular periods for about a year then I went on birth control to regulate my periods for half a month and have had my period every month for about a year since but it's one heavy period then a couple months of spotting. Any idea to why or anyone who has the same issue?

Yes. I hated it. Had to bring a variety of supplies because i never knew when it would start or how bad it would be.

Yes, I’ve had issues with this before. Your endometrial lining can differ greatly depending on if you ovulated that month. We ladies with PCOS don’t necessarily ovulate every month, so our linings can get all out of whack. Typically the months you didn’t ovulate you won’t get a very heavy period or you might totally skip that month. Hope this helps!

I used to be regular but the older I got the worse my pcos got. I started having the same thing a few years back. I would swear my light months was implantation. it did a number on my head and heart. I found out I had endometriosis.
