Do you think your boyfriend would still be with you if you didn’t have “a nice body”?

This poll might be stupid to some, but I’m just curious. 
My boyfriend said he doesn’t think he’ll be with me if I didn’t have “a nice body”. I think that’s so messed up and I want to know if your partner thinks the same or if he actually loves you for who you are.  
(i’m not trying to body shame anyone everyone’s beautiful in their own way but sometimes men only look at the surface)

I'm a "stick" to some people and have pretty much zero boobs or ass and my man is always so quick to tell me that I don't need any of those assets to be beautiful to him 😊

That is messed up. He sounds like a jerk. I’d leave if my boyfriend ever said that to me. I’ve gained like 15-20 pounds since I first started dating my boyfriend over 5 years ago. My face is chubby, my arms are chubby. I look nothing like I did before. He still loves me as much as he did then and continues to remind me that he’ll love me no matter what. Looks are important, yes, but they shouldn’t be everything.

Is it possible your boyfriend meant something a little different? Maybe he meant if he hadn’t known you beforehand and you didn’t have “a nice body” (whatever that means 🙄) you wouldn’t be quite his type? That’s still a strange thing to say but more understandable I guess...

When we first got together, I had a really nice bod & a really cute ass 😳 I always wore make up too. After having our baby my tummy skin is all loose & filled with stretch marks. My ass is flat. I only do my make up for special occasions and that's if my daughter is okay sitting tight while I do. But he still loves me, still has sex with me even though we do it less cause we are Both so tired. 😂😂
Your bf needs to understand that bodies change. We gain weight, we lose weight, we have babies, we get sick, etc etc. he should love you through it all !!

my fiance loved me when I was 50 lbs less than I previously was a month ago. now I only have 30lbs to lose till I'm at the weight when I met him. he loves me even now. and he'll love when I finally get to the weight I want to be at. your so should love you no matter what. they should never make you feel subpar and should never hurt you in any way.
