Saliva is bad for sperm, true or false?

Question

I keep seeing conflicting opinions about whether or not it's bad to lubricate with saliva (e.g. oral sex before BD). Have any of you heard anything definitive on the topic from a doctor? Or for the pregnant ladies, from personal experience?

Hmm I’m not sure officially either. But, assuming you mean you’re receiving the oral sex (?), we always do that before sex. I think natural lubrication is probably the best so anything you can do to get going 👍🏻

My husband and I always do oral sex before we actually have sex so it didn’t ruin the sperm for us!

I don't know for sure, but I'm leaning towards it being fine.  Here's my logic: I know a lot of people have recommended using Preseed inside, regular lube on the outside... so in the case of oral sex, I would think there's really not enough saliva getting inside to make a difference. And that's still assuming it's not good for sperm, which I find hard to believe.  I think you're good!
