Diet controlled with no insulin.
I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes at 30 weeks and I’ve been doing really well with controlling my numbers. Well, this morning, my 2hr post meal was 180!!! I know it’s my fault because I ate hot cakes and syrup which is what pushed it up so high. I never really eat it, just had a craving. I was told it should be 120 or under and if I see anything over 160 to call my doctor. Of course it would be a Saturday and that isn’t an option. I am going to be a ftm and I’m so scared . My baby is due Christmas Day. I’m currently 34 weeks and 6 days and I keep finding all this information on line talking about still birth after 35 weeks is really common in women with gestational diabetes. Can anyone give me any advice? I’m really a crying and nervous wreck right now 😢😢
