period is lasting too long

I've been on my period for a long time now , it's so weird ! I'm not on birth control so its not breakthrough bleeding ,. it started on the 9th and I spotted until the 12th and it literally was black and basically one or 2 spots a day , then 13th it was normal brighter red period blood with clots and it was about a medium . it's now the 18th and I still have brownish black spots EVERYTIME I wipe! . IM SUPPOSED TO OVULATE THIS COMING WEEK AM I GONNA MISS IT???
