What to expect at first fertility appt

I have my first fertility appt on Monday- they do all the testing for fertility issues (I already know I have Endo &a; Factor V Leiden) what type of tests do they do?

It’s really depends on your doctor. My friends experience at hers and mine at the military hospital have been total opposites. I would say expect a lot of blood work, medical background questions, an ultrasound and an HSG. Not all on the first day but you’ll make appointments and learn about them and they’ll answer all your questions. You’ll have to be on a new cycle to do some of the tests so if you don’t have periods on your own you’ll get some meds to jumpstart a period by tricking your body into thinking it ovulated. Like some blood work has to be done on CD 3 some on 21 and so on. Once all the results come back is when they start to figure out a game plan for you! You’ll probably go through a normal 28 day cycle before you start meds while they do tests. This was my experience anyway and I know I probably rambled so I hope it makes sense!!!

I had a previous hsg done so I didn't need to get that done. They asked a ton of medical questions and did a vaginal ultrasound that day. And I made appointments to come back a week later and do blood tests and my husband's semen analysis. And made my follow up appiontment for a few weeks later to come back and go over all the results which is this Tuesday. I hate waiting around for results.
