HPV? help?

I just had a pap the other day that came back Abnormal. I AM FREAKING OUT. Is HPV really that common?? What is your experience. Please any info.

Yeah it's pretty common. Last statistic I saw from the CDC, 80% of American adults have it. 
If you don't have it, you're weird lol 
It's nothing to worry about though, as long as it isn't cancerous (which it rarely is).

Pretty much if you have sex you probably have HPV

I've been dealing with abnormal paps since 2007 (HPV)  I had hi grade pre cancer cells. Many colpos  a leep a cold knife cone, In the past year I've been able to go from every 3 months at the gyno to once a year. It can be terrifying.

yes it is very common and usually not an issue. there are hundreds of different strains and most of them are harmless so don't stress to much.

I mean it’s common that doesn’t mean you’re weird if you don’t have it ? It is a something that if you have a certain strand of it you can get gentian warts... I mean people bragging about it like everyone has it which is not true.. but if you do have HPV while you are young there is a huge chance it will go away on its own. It’s been known to do so
