(FOR women aged 26-30) how long did take to consieve?

I am 28 and been trying to convince for 6 months.  I was under the impression that it would be easier and faster ( mostly from they way it's exaggerated in sex ed while in highschool)

I had my son at 26. I wanted to try for another when he turned one. It took 4 years 7 months for my daughter. I had her at 32 almost 33 years old! :)

With my son it was the first time out and I was 24 when we started trying for number 2 I was 27 and thought it would be super easy. Wellll let me
tell you we hit every bump in the road you could imagine. We tried for 6 months with no luck, I end up having emergency surgery to remove an ovarian cyst. Then once I’m cleared for sex I had to give myself another 2 cycles to officially start trying. We start trying again with no luck, I get another cyst (no surgery this time thank god). I see my obgyn she tells me I should see a fertility specialist. Call and make the appointment, come to find out they don’t take my insurance and the initial appointment would “only be $500” in cash or credit due the day you come in. Needless to say we didn’t have that kinda money at the time. So we decided we would just go with the flow and see where God would lead. Low and behold one night in May I said to my hubby “I feel so sick, my period should be coming any day”— not even thinking I could be pregnant. I go to use the bathroom and happen to see a pregnancy test box sticking out of the drawer and I say “hey why not”. Take the test and within seconds the magical two lines showed up! Here I am 30 weeks pregnant with our sweet baby girl when it seemed like all the odds were stacked against me.
All that to say, don’t get discouraged! It will/can happen, sometimes it’s when you least expect it. Or it’s the calm after the “storms” we go through. Baby dust to all!

I just turned 26 and it took my husband and I 8 months to conceive. But this time we used Preseed, Ovulation tests and I elevated my pelvis after BD. Hope this helps. :)
