my mil told me that we did not need a 2nd baby shower even though she threw a 2nd baby shower for her nephew's wife. i let it be. she called my husband few weeks later asking if i wanted a baby shower. my husband said he did bc wanted to celebrate baby coming with his family. i had a simple lovely baby shower with my family already. i really did not care for one with his family. especially with his mom not wanting to do seems like. my husband did so i went with it. well she scheduled baby shower with me few weeks ago. well shower is in 2 weeks & no invites or talk of it in few weeks. just feel so awkward with it and if does send invites so late - makes ppl more aware she did not want to do. his family does not seem to be excited for our #2 baby which makes me feel more sad by it.
