Is this normal from depo?

I’ve had the depo for a few months now and have not had a period at all that I can remember and I’m not sure if it is normal. I am supposed to get another December 19!

With the depo shot, it basically stops you from ovulating so you won’t have a period. My cousin was taking it forever. Just because if you go off of it your period will be heavy for a while depending on how long you take shots.
