Kick count

Bethany

Does everyone follow the kick counter? I was told by a midwife that baby NEEDS to hit movements within at least one hour EVERY day, otherwise something is wrong. Than I have heard from two other nurses that every baby is different and it’s normal for babies to have days where they’re not as active. I am 30 weeks and about once per week or every so often he has crazy energy. Other days he moves quite a bit, some days not so much. And very few days where I have barely felt him move. Being more specific today he has been decently active and has hit his kick counter almost twice today. But all day yesterday I felt him move maybe 10 it’s times through the entire day. Just worries me sometimes. I feel like everything is okay and it’s seems normal to me. But I guess I just wanted some mamas to share opinions, experiences. I wasn’t to thrilled when the midwife told me, “baby HAS to meet kick count everyday”
