I was in a year long on and off abusive relationship with my ex who found joy and pleasure out of making me feel worthless and shit. I didn't think when I finally grew some balls I could ever be with anyone(he had physically punched some guys I'd been seeing before) but now my life has turned around completely, I'm with my new man, he's amazing, and he's so gentle with me in situations I used to be tense in.
