Emergency room yesterday:(

Lisa

I woke up yesterday wheezing and struggling to breath. This has happened before due to allergy induced asthma, but this time was bad and it wasn’t going away. I called my doctor and asked him what I should do, last thing I want to do is hurt my baby inside me. He asked me a couple of questions and as I was talking and stoping mid sentence to take breaths of air, the answer became clear to both of us. My husband took me to urgent care soon after since it’s right down the road. They saw my right away but they didn’t want to treat me because the doctor couldnt pinpoint what was wrong. She told me better safe than sorry I should go to the ER so they can rule blood clots and other deadly things out that the baby might be causing. Off to the ER we went. As I was wheezing loudly and walking through the hallways, nurses and other staff members at the hospital were looking at me in concern. Ended up finally getting a breathing treatment and instantly stopped wheezing. They did a few testes and it’s just like I said to the first and second doctor, It’s asthma and I need medication for it. Baby wasn’t causing anything. Now I can finally breath.
