my daughter was in the nicu for a week when she was born and I couldn't nurse her due to respiratory problems so she was tube fed and when she got better she was bottle fed to make sure she did well eating. she is 4 weeks old and for the first 3 1/2 weeks I've been pumping for her every 2-3 hours even when she came home because she wouldn't latch. well she FINALLY is latching for the pass 3 days so I stopped pumping, but now all of a sudden I've been severely engorged and developed a really bad mastitis in my left breast that's been making run a fever. this is my 1st time dealing with this as I didn't breastfeed my first and I can't see my LC until the week day when she is in, but I'm so desperate for this to go away so I'm open to any advice anybody has!! I've also tried pumping until I was comfortable but that wasn't until I pumped out 8oz out of each breast and they were still full...
