when will they schedule?

My first baby was an emergency c section.  My water broke and she came 12 days before her due date.  My question is because she was early will they schedule baby 2 early?

no. csections are typically scheduled 39+ wks. drs will do it early for medical reason but not because your previous was born early. having one or two pregnancies that are early doesnt mean your next will be.

Nope! My first was an emergency (preeclampsia and failed induction) my second was scheduled for 39 weeks, had mild preeclampsia again so I delivered at 37. Just had my 3rd.. was totally hoping they schedule me for 37-38 weeks, but nope! My body had other plans and she came at 36.., hope yours goes smoothly!!

I got mine 38 weeks.. water broke, for a whole week I was leaking fluid. I knew I was leaking fluid but a stupid ass doctor student told me I had a yeast infection.. smh. least of my worries because it's common in pregnant women. I was leaking so bad. I had to get a c-section because my baby wasn't ready to come out. my cervix wasn't getting soft at all... so it depends. lol

My doctor schedules at 39 weeks. With my son she did 39 weeks but she also makes us go for a growth scan and the such a week or so before to make sure everything looks good.

i have heard of drs scheduling at 38 but most will do 39+. just depends on dr preference.
