Milk supply???

Anyone taking and would recommend anything to help up the mil supply? I’m currently bf only and would hate it if I have to give my baby formula! Currently pumping after feeding and just pump about 1 ounce and if I pump without prior feeding I will pump about 1-2 ounces. 😫😫

Pumping isn’t a good indication of how much milk you produce. Babies are way more efficient on the breast.
Nothing besides breastfeeding or pumping more will up your supply.

i got some lactation brownies from milky momma and they actually taste pretty good. You can also make your own by adding 2-4 tbsp of brewers yeast to a package of brownie mix, 2 tbsp of ground flax seed or flax seed meal, and you can add oatmeal also or nuts. the brownies have a slight bitter taste to them because of the brewers yeast but they aren't terrible. the ones from milky momma definitely taste better. I feel like my supply has gone up some since I've been. eating the brownies. I generally will let him nurse from one side and pump the other side at night. he nurses so much during the day I don't really have much time to pump. also like other people said, drink plenty of fluids too.

Move Milk to make milk. Nothing will increase your supply other than removing the milk from your boobs either from baby latching or pumping. Fenugreek and other milk boosters work at first but then ultimately decrease your supply. Just keep putting baby to breast.

Mother’s milk tea and oatmeal. Have you tried power pumping sessions? I’m pumping about 12oz now.

Water and oatmeal. Becareful with supplements because it can cause a reverse reaction and you don’t want that.

I only pump and struggled with my supply at first because of me taking my over supply at the beginning. I ended up panicking when I could only get 3oz all together (I double pump). I'm going to say what I did to get my supply up to 11oz a pump session...but I don't know what worked because I tried multiple different things at once lol. Good news is though my supply is going up practically every two days so something is working.
A.) I took one day and only fed from the breast. Hoping it would stimulate something. My baby boy was not happy because he was not getting enough and was cranky all day/night because of it 😩 (but you already breast feed so this one probably won't help)
B.) Started drinking at least 85oz of fluids a day.
C.) I make sure to pump at least every four hours. (Also I have a medical grade pump, I definitely think your quality of pump matters for getting all your milk out. Making room for new milk to come in.)
D.) Milk thistle. I started taking milk thistle RELIGIOUSLY. It was recommended  by my friend who almost lost her supply a month or so before me. It's found near the vitamins and supplements in any store like Walmart. Don't get the off brands go for the real deal 👌🏽
Good luck!! I know I felt like I was failing when my supply was low because all I wanted to do was make sure my baby is well fed and healthy. I did t want to have to supplement formula either. Just remember you're doing great and a fed baby is all that matters so no shame if you do need to supplement! But either way you've got this !!

It’s not going to hurt your baby if you have to supplement a little with formula. Keep nursing and pumping and that will help with milk supply.
