Ok your both still high school age it's not like someone goes from being 17 and then BAM 18 hits and they're a pedifile. My husband is almost 3 years older than me and we were friends in high school and started dating when I turned 18. Now married with kids. Trust your instincts, and be aware of the laws as to not get yourselves into trouble.

My husband was 17 and I was 15 when we started dating and then he turned 18 a few months later. We never had sex though until we got married at 22 and 24 so there was nothing illegal about it

I was 13 when I met my finance, he was 16 at the time. We started having sex when I was 14, and when he turned 18 I was only 15. Both of our parents KNEW we were having sex and his mom wrote a letter stating that they knew we were sexually active and it wasn’t statutory rape, and my mom signed it. We’re still together now, I’m 18 and he’s 21. 😊

I was 15 when I first started dating my fiancé, he was 19. 
His mum didn’t agree with it so after a lot of arguments and agro we split up. A few years passed and we dated other people (we never forgot each other though) and got back together when we were 19 and 23! 
We’ve been together nearly 7 and a half years, have a son together (he’s 6) and get married next year! 
So as long as your happy and have a smart head, then it’s okay!
