Does my baby look bigger than 8 weeks??

Doctor said I was only 8 weeks and 1 day. I've seen other ultrasound pics and I feel like my baby is bigger than others... thoughts?

If your doctor says baby is measuring 8w1d I would trust that. Zoom and angle can make a huge difference when you're looking at ultrasound photos. You're also looking at baby in relation to the size of the uterus. I'm not a doctor but it would make sense to me that not everyone's uterus stretches at exactly the same rate. I know they say your uterus stretches faster if you have already had a baby. So looking at baby in relation to the uterus probably isn't a good measurement system either. Doctors usually use the distance from the top of baby's head to the bottom of baby. Baby's grow at a pretty steady and predictable rate early on so the CRL is a good indicator of Baby's age.
