Does your parent's like your SO?

Did they just deal with you being with your SO? Did they eventually start liking your SO? Asking for my cat.

My mom likes him most of the time. My husband is one to speak his mind though and won't put up with my mom's occasional bullshit. She did not like him at fist, but that was only because she thought since my dad's side if the family has lots of females that get pregnant young that I was going to be one if them. She immediately thought we were having sex when we didn't till we had been together about a year. My dad likes him now, but was pissed about me dating at first.

My mom hates my bf so bad, he is 6 years younger than me and was 18 when we got together, he never did anything to her, my mom is just a very difficult person to deal with. Its so bad that they refuse to be around each other and sadly my mom is so childish she doesn't even treat our daughter together good. It breaks my heart be cuz she is so good to my daughter that isn't his and doesn't want anything to do with my daughter with him..

My entire family especially my mom,  is obsessed with my husband, they treat him like he's God's gift to Earth. He's definitely charming, but sometimes they treat him better than they do me🤦🏽
