Alright Glow community, I am in need of your help once again. This year has been extremely difficult for me including losing my first pregnancy (blighted ovum) and then not passing all of the products for 13 weeks. I had to have an emergency D&C; on October 10, 2017, due to this and it was devastating. It was as though I was losing my baby all over again.

Anyway, we were instructed not to have sex for 4 weeks after the procedure, but as a married couple who had been grieving for months with a freshly opened wound, we didn’t last very long. We decided that as long as the bleeding was done and it wasn’t too painful maybe we could start trying again. I took many ovulation tests throughout the month to see where my fertility was.

These were just a few of the tests taken around the week of October 24th. This picture obviously shows after the waiting period, but on the digital clear blue each of these read with “high fertility.”

I googled a lot and found that 10 days of high fertility could mean that I was already pregnant, so I took a few tests:

I thought that these were only evap lines and carried on with my month. I kept testing all the way up till 3 days to AF being due.

I decided that if I was pregnant it would have shown by now, so I decided to schedule my scope procedure for after my D&C; to check for any scar tissue or left over products.

I went in, as scheduled, on November 9th. It is procedure that the office does a urine pregnancy test before the procedure since it is minimally invasive. Their test even came back negative, so I felt that I had made the right decision to schedule the procedure.

My OB said that everything looked textbook perfect and that we could start trying after AF (which even she told me would be soon since endometrium was red during scope).

I waited almost a week with light cramping, but AF never showed. On Wednesday the 15th I decided to take a test just to make sure. I didn’t even think it would be slightly positive, but....

I called my OB who did not believe me and had me come into the office just to confirm with their own urine pregnancy test (which also came back positive).

I went for blood work the same day and my HCG was at 112.3

My OB states that there is no way way I was pregnant before the scope because she would have seen something, but my levels say otherwise.

I waited 48 hrs to take another test to see if the line was getting darker and...

I went back in for repeat labs on Saturday November 18th, and my levels were 419.9.

I’m thinking that I either am further along than what my doctor thinks, or I might be expecting multiples??

My OB doesn’t want an ultrasound until January 4th, but should I try to get in sooner to help date the pregnancy?
